A teen was stabbed outside a bus stop in the Bronx and police say it may be gang related.
The incident happened Tuesday in front of the bus stop on West Fordham Road and University Avenue just after 2 p.m.
Police say the 17-year-old was approached by a group of teens when a dispute broke out and one of them pulled out a knife.
Surveillance video shows the suspect moments before police say he stabbed the teen once in the stomach with a knife.
The teen was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say it is unclear whether the suspect and the victim know one another.
However, police say the incident may be related to a gang initiation or even a case of mistaken identify.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS
