NYPD: 2 shot, 1 killed in Belmont

A man is dead after a late night shooting in Belmont.
Police say they found Miguel Aviles on East 183rd Street on Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds in his stomach.
The shooting reportedly happened during a memorial service just before 10:30 p.m. that day.
A 25-year-old woman was also grazed by a bullet in her left leg.
Police tape surrounded the area Sunday morning with evidence markers still on the ground. NYPD's crime scene unit was also there.
A neighbor tells News 12 she heard gunshots with her family Saturday night. She says her daughter thought it was fireworks.
EMS transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital where Aviles was pronounced dead.
The woman is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation for a suspect continues.
