Old Bridge baseball player, father killed in Michigan car crash

A star baseball player from Old Bridge and his father were killed in a car crash in Michigan late Friday.
Reports say they were involved in a six-car crash on I-75, about 40 minutes south of Detroit.
Zach Attianese, 20, was one of the nation's top junior college pitchers and was planning to play at Florida State University.
Attianese was going into his junior year, and was New Jersey's Player of the Year as a sophomore.
Old Bridge Baseball and the Old Bridge athletic director posted sentiments about Attianese on Twitter.
Attianese's dad was 61 years old. News 12 was told they were in Michigan for a family member's funeral.
