Crews battle fire at Fairfield home

Residents say an explosion was followed by a fire at a home in Fairfield Saturday evening.
The flames broke out in the back of the home just before 7 p.m. on Half Mile Road.
Those in the home were able to escape. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but fire officials are reminding residents to keep combustible grills at least 10 feet from your home and to make sure that all propane or gas connections are tight.
