The 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is calling for a "political revolution" in her quest to unseat incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley in the 14th District's Democratic primary.

Ocasio-Cortez is Crowley's first primary challenger in 14 years. She is a former organizer for Sen. Bernie Sanders, of Vermont. Like him, she has pledged not to take money from corporate political action committees.

She says that would let her make legislation based on the needs of working class people, not corporations.

She says she wants to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement and establish a clear path to citizenship for immigrants.
