Crystal-clear video shows several suspects who are being sought in the brutal slaying of a 15-year-old outside of a Bronx bodega, and police are hoping the images lead to an arrest in the case.
Officers were out in Belmont Friday posting reward signs in hopes of a tip that leads to the suspects.
As News 12 has reported, the incident happened on East 183rd Street Wednesday night just before 12 a.m.
Lesandro Guzman-Feliz ,15, of the Bronx, was stabbed and slashed multiple times, including once in the neck. He attempted to run to St. Barnabas Hospital to seek help, but he collapsed and later died.
The surveillance video shows a group of men dragging Guzman-Feliz out of the bodega and onto the sidewalk, where the men continued beat him.
Police say one of the suspects slashed Guzman-Feliz in the throat with a machete.
Investigators say they aren't sure what lead to the fatal stabbing, but they believe a dispute broke out between the teen and his attackers.
Guzman-Feliz's mother says her son told her he was going to loan a friend money at the bodega the night he was killed, and that was the last time she saw him.
Guzman-Feliz's brother-in-law says the teen had texted his family, telling them that he was on his way home.
The 15-year-old was known by many in the community as Junior, and he had dreams of one day becoming an NYPD detective.
The victim's family is pleading with the public, asking for information on the identification of the wanted men, no matter how small.
Anyone who recognizes the men from the video is asked to call police at 1-800-577-TIPS.
