THE BRONX -

Police are looking for a man they say punched a deli employee in the face.

Investigators say the assault took place June 9 at M Famous Gourmet Deli behind on White Plains Road here in Williamsbridge around noon.

The deli's surveillance footage shows the suspect, described as an 18- to 23-year-old man, standing at about 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 with long black hair in dreadlocks.

He's seen walking into the store then punching the person behind the counter.

A different employee told News 12 that his coworker, the victim, chased the suspect outside where he waved a silver gun in his face.

Police say the suspect then ran into the Gun Hill Houses.
