Police: 36-year-old man is fatally shot in University Heights

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -

Authorities are investigating after a 36-year old man was killed in University Heights overnight.

According to police reports, it all happened just before 10 p.m. when they received a call of an assault.

When they arrived to the scene, they found the man lying on the floor of his apartment unresponsive with gunshot wounds on his head and torso.

He was pronounced deceased at the location.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing
