An Uber driver from the Bronx has been arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a passenger in Westchester County.
Police say a 38-year-old woman was on her way home when she woke up in the back seat of an Uber on the side of the Hutchinson River Parkway.
Officials say the driver, Iqbal Hussain, 26, was right beside her and allegedly had his hands between her legs.
The woman then punched Hussain off of her before he drove her the rest of the way home.
The incident comes after several similar ones for Uber. A recent report shows that more than 100 of their drivers have been accused of sexual assault or abuse in the last four years.
Hussain was fired by Uber and arrested Tuesday at his Bronx home. He is due in court next week.
