Police have released surveillance video of the moment a man was shot multiple times outside of his Throgs Neck home.
The incident happened Wednesday morning outside of a Tierney Place and Locus Point Drive home.
Video shows the moment a car pulls up and a passenger inside begins firing a gun at a man standing on the street.
The shooting suspect is also seen getting out of the car and running over to the victim where he again fires several shots at point blank range before getting back into the car and driving away.
The 41-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds including one on his left hand and graze wounds to his head.
He was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition where he remains, police say.
Police describe the vehicle used in the incident as a dark red colored four door Nissan sedan.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
