NY attorney general pushes for ban on flavored tobacco

State Attorney General Barbara Underwood is leading a coalition that's urging the FDA to ban all flavored tobacco products in New York.
The bipartisan group of nine attorneys general released comments Friday from a letter sent to the FDA where they say research shows both high school and middle school students who use e-cigarettes, hookahs or cigars use flavored tobacco products.
The attorney general is calling for the ban on flavored tobacco and says that using the product leads to a lifetime of addiction.
Congress passed regulations regarding flavored cigarettes in 2009.
