An Art Haven exhibit in Mott Haven has given local artists from the Bronx a platform.

Bronx Art Space welcomed five artists and three curators for their new project.

Adrien De Mones gathered people from all across the area, including her mother, to create.

Chem Carrasco was among those that joined in on the Bronx-focused piece, looking at the borough's past.

But no matter what the pieces turned out to be, the focus was keeping their hearts close to home.
