Mentoring program hosts street fair in Williamsbridge

WILLIAMSBRIDGE -

Williamsbridge is playing host to an education street fair this afternoon.

The street fair is a collaboration between the Young Kings and Queens Chess Club and Mentoring Program and Butler Church.

Bronx residents were treated to food, games, family fun and prizes.

Organizers say today's fair is their way of giving back to the community and getting at-risk kids away from the streets.

The fair runs until 6 p.m. at 3920 Paulding Ave. between East 222nd and East 223rd streets.
