Castle Hill hosts 3rd annual 'Stay in School' handball tournament

Exercise, camaraderie and competition were all coming together today under the hot summer sun for an annual handball tournament.
Local children say handball is a sport that puts smiles on their faces and that they look forward to the event all summer long.
Organizers say the sport helps teaches them how to be successful, not only on the court, but in life.

Success on and off the court continues to be the No. 1 goal for the Castle Hill Handball Association.
The Third Annual Boys and Girls Stay in School Handball Tournament allowing Bronx teens to bond with police officers.
Organizers say they started this event to make Castle Hill Park the premier handball location that it once was.
Now, teachers, cops and professional handball players are all working together to preserve their sport and keep kids off the streets.

Organizers make sure that no one leaves empty handed. Some of the top prizes include laptops, bicycles and headphones.
