Virginia police find missing BX woman's car in Fairfax

Police are continuing to search for a Bronx woman who has been missing since July 28.
Police say 50-year-old Vianelva Tavera was planning a tip to Philadelphia but has not been in contact with her family since last Saturday.
Virginia police say they found 38-year-old Luis Negron-Martinez inside the car that belonged to Tavera on July 30. They say they were able to locate the car because a man who was inside it at the time was possible in need of medical attention.
At the time they discovered Negron-Martinez, they say he had a gun.
Fairfax police then arrested Negron-Martinez for grand larceny and possession of a concealed weapon.
Investigators say Negron-Martinez and Tavera knew each other and that the mother of five may have been harmed.
Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or the Fairfax Tip Line at 1-866-411-TIPS.
