Bushwick students attend summer literacy program

Students at one public school in Brooklyn are sharpening their literacy skills over the summer while attending a reading camp.
At least 200 students at P.S. 257 attend the five-week 'LitCamp' program, which encourages children to read.
The program was spearheaded by the Department of Education and Scholastic.
Staff members at the camp say they want to make reading fun for children.
They say for the first time this year, the program will now expand to bi-lingual children.
