Massapequa HS teacher accused of having child porn

Federal investigators say they found child pornography on a Massapequa science teacher's home computer.
Joseph Zanco, who has taught physics at Massapequa High School for the past 15 years, faces charges of two counts of possession of child porn and one count of transporting it.
He pleaded not guilty Monday, and a judge released him on $300,000 bond.
"He's a well-respected teacher," says his attorney, Alan Nelson. "His wife is a teacher. They are well respected in the community."
FBI Investigators say Zanco uploaded more than 400 images of child porn to his Google account.
After the files were uploaded, Google flagged the files, suspended his account and notified authorities.
The FBI says agents executed a search warrant at his home on April 30 and found the child porn. Initially, investigators say he blamed someone else, but Google searches allegedly linked him to the images.
The district placed Zanco on administrative leave with pay. He is expected back in court next month.
