6th annual Hop Cashay Day held in Highbridge

HIGHBRIDGE -

Some children were finding ways to enjoy the last few days of summer before school begins at the sixth annual Hop Cashay Day in Highbridge on Sunday.

Organizers of the event, Kevin Wilson, Hop Cashay and the rest of their team provided children with free haircuts, school supplies and a mobile arcade.

This event has drawn the attention of people from out of state. One woman traveled all the way from New Jersey to support the cause.

The up-and-coming artist and his team say they are trying to expand the annual event across the city.

Parents say this is a way for families to take back the streets and make them safe for their kids.
