Morris Heights residents fight to stay cool during oppressive heat

Bronx residents tried to stay cool amid the blazing heat Wednesday.
News 12 meteorologists say temperatures soared into the 90s but it felt like it was in the 100s for parts of the day.
People in Morris Heights told News 12 they were trying to take breaks in nearby stores to grab water and some air conditioning.
Officials advise everyone dealing with the heat to drink plenty of water, take advantage of cooling centers and to check on elderly neighbors to make sure they're OK.
