A wife is grieving after her husband drowned at Orchard Beach just five days after their marriage.

Adolfo Munoz, 29,  was swept away while swimming with his co-workers Wednesday just before 8 p.m. Lifeguards are off duty on the beach after 6 p.m.

Indiana Acosta says the father of her 11-month-old baby girl was not a strong swimmer, but she never imagined his phone call from the beach would be their last.

"He told me he would return," Acosta said. "That was the last thing, but he never did."

Acosta and Munoz had planned to visit Munoz's family in Mexico, who he hadn't seen in 10 years.

Acosta says she still plan to make the trip.
