Longwood unveils $10 million upgrades to playground

LONGWOOD -

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday to unveil the latest upgrades to Playground 52 in Longwood.

The playground now includes a skate park, renovated basketball courts, an amphitheater and better lighting.

It also has spray showers for kids to enjoy during the hot summer months.

The upgrades cost $10 million.
