THE BRONX -

For the 17th year, dozens came together Tuesday at Jacobi Medical Center to remember their family members and neighbors lost on 9/11.

Those gathered mark the moment the hijackers crashed flight 11 into the first tower with a moment of silence.

They followed this with prayers of remembrance and song, and reflections from family members as wreathes are laid down across the names of those who lost their lives.

A ceremony held at the 41st Precinct in Longwood payed tribute to 23 NYPD officers who were killed on 9/11. Their names were read aloud.
