Video: Police seek suspect after 2 assaults in 47th Precinct

The NYPD is seeking the public's help to find a suspect in connection to two assaults in the 47th Precinct.
The first incident occurred around 1:05 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10 near East 242nd Street and White Plains Road. Police say the suspect approached the victim, a 29-year-old man, and then yelled at him and punched him in the face. The victim tried to get away but was chased down, knocked to the ground and hit repeatedly. Police say the suspect also used a box cutter to slash the victim's neck. 
Police say the second incident happened around 1:15 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10 at 4781 White Plains Road. The suspect approached a 43-year-old man and "berated him without provocation," according to police. Police say the suspect followed the victim outside and used a box cutter to cut him on the ear. 
The first victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. The second victim drove himself to a hospital for treatment.
Police describe the suspect as a black male standing between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall. He has hair in box braids and was seen in a black and red jacket with "Chicago" on the back. He was wearing black jeans and black sneakers.
