Police: Man wanted for robbery near West Farms subway station

Police are asking for the public’s help as they work to identify a man connected to a subway station robbery.

According to police, a man was approached at the entrance to the West Farms Square and East Tremont subway station according to police, before being threatened and robbed.

Police say the 23-year-old victim was threatened by the man on Aug. 26.

The suspect threatened the man and took his cellphone before he fled.

The suspect is described as being between 20 to 30 years old and he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and dark colored jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
