Norwalk Boat Show returns for 43rd year

The Norwalk Boat Show is sailing back to the city for its 43rd year.
The Connecticut budget has lowered the tax on new boats, motors and trailers, all of which will be showcased at the event. The tax was cut from 6.34 percent to just under 3 percent, which could lead to big savings for prospective buyers.
Thursday is expected to be a day filled with deals. Financing will be available for those looking to make an investment.
Organizers say they expect the tax cut to result in an increase in sales.
The show runs from Thursday to Sunday at the Norwalk Cove Marina. It will showcase more than 300 new boats.
