MOUNT EDEN -

Police are on the hunt for a man accused of robbing a deli in Mount Eden earlier this month.

Police say the suspect, caught on surveillance video, held up Blue Moon Deli at gunpoint on East 170th Street.

They say the suspect forced the 28-year-old employee to give him the cash in the register. Another employee says that the same man tried to steal tobacco from the store in the past.

News 12 is told he got away with $200 in cash and a box of cigars.

The incident happened on Sept. 19.

Police say he's about 25 years old, about 5 foot 6, weighing about 150 pounds.

They say he has a tattoo of a skull on his left hand and was last wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
