Officials: Man accused of fatally hitting Boy Scout could face more charges

The man accused of DWI and plowing into a group of Boy Scouts, killing one, may face upgraded charges.
It comes as the 12-year-old Boy Scout fatally struck is being remembered.
Neighbors at Andrew McMorris' home in Wading River were too distraught to go on camera Monday, but they said they will do whatever they can to help his family.
Andrew died Monday morning after being hit by a car Sunday afternoon. He was one of 18 Boy Scouts hiking along David Terry Road in Manorville.
That was when police say a Mercedes driven by Thomas Murphy hit five of the kids.
The 59-year-old from Holbrook allegedly admitted to police he had several drinks earlier at a golf club before driving.
Murphy is free after posting $500,000 bond and could face upgraded charges.
Police say four other Boy Scouts from Troop 161 are recovering, and one remains in serious condition at the hospital.
