Best of the Bronx: The Salsa Project

Posted: Updated:
PORT MORRIS -

A Bronx man is working to preserve the history of salsa.

Brandon Espinosa has launched the 'Salsa Project,' which includes a documentary film and, of course, salsa dancing and education.

"I always attended salsa events with my parents in the Bronx when I was growing up, but quickly realized I was the youngest one there," Espinosa says.

He says the project is all about keeping the spirit of Salsa alive for the younger generation.

Espinosa has also partnered with clothing designer 'Bronx Native' to produce a collection of commemorative apparel which celebrates salsa.
