NYPD: Suspect wanted for attacking elderly woman in Pelham Parkway

Police are on the hunt for the person behind a brutal robbery of an elderly woman in Pelham Parkway earlier this month.
Police tell News 12 the suspect attacked a 68-year-old woman on Oct. 6 around 5:20 a.m.
News 12 is told he walked up to the woman on White Plains Road, struck her six times with a bottle and demanded money.
He made away with her Galaxy cellphone, debit card and $5 cash.
The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for cuts to the head and face.
Police believe the suspect is in his 40s and about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
