A Food Bazaar Supermarket is expected to open in 2019 at the former Toys R Us location within the Bronx Terminal Market.

It would become the only grocery store in the complex, as well as most likely the largest supermarket in the Bronx.

First reported in the Commercial Observer, the shopping center's landlord believes the new addition will bring more people to the area.

Residents tell News 12 that they're excited by the prospect of more food options.

The Food Bazaar is expected to open its doors next spring.
