There are some noticeable improvements for Long Island Rail Road riders in Nassau County.
Two projects were recently completed.
The Wantagh station now has a new elevator as well as new platforms and other changes. The project cost $27 million.
The updated Farmingdale station includes more accessibility in restrooms, upgraded electrical and plumbing, USB charging areas and more.
More improvements for the Farmingdale station are planned for next year.
