Technical issues cause closure of BJ’s stores across the US

BJ’s Wholesale stores across the United States were closed Thursday due to technical issues.
The company did not elaborate what type of issues stores were having, but told multiple customers via Twitter that some BJ’s clubs were experiencing a delayed opening due to a technical issue.
“We will update this message when the Clubs reopen. We do not have an estimated time when issue will be fixed. We will keep our members posted when system will be up and running,” the tweets said.
At the BJ’s location in Edison, employees greeted customers at the front door to let them know about the issues.
News 12 New Jersey reached out to BJ’s corporate for comment, but did not hear back.
