Plane crashes shortly after takeoff from southern NJ airport

Police in Lower Township say a plane crashed shortly after takeoff in Cape May County.
The crash happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. at the Cape May Airport. 
When first responders arrived, the pilot was out of the single-engine aircraft.
The pilot suffered minor injuries.
There is still no word yet on what caused the crash.
