Traffic trouble lingers day after autumn snowstorm

The snow may be gone, but the traffic nightmare that started in Thursday's storm was still a problem one day later.
While roads are not nearly as hazardous as they were, Gun Hill Road was still a sea of red brake lights Friday night. Gridlock was expected since it was the last Friday before Thanksgiving.
Some drivers on the Bronx River Parkway and Cross Bronx Expressway experienced commutes over several hours due to the disastrous road conditions during the snowstorm.
Though conditions are not as slick anymore, drivers should still exercise caution at all times during their commutes.
Following scrutiny of the city's handling of the storm, Mayor Bill de Blasio said a full audit of the city's response will be conducted.
