The Wellness Diaspora hosted a brunch and clothing drive Sunday in Mott Haven.

The charitable organization gave out clothing to men, women and children in need.

Organizers say it is important the items are wearable and free of stains.

The event also featured a brunch with chefs on site to teach anyone interested about different foods and cooking methods.

"We basically want to share with the community, healing foods and teach them--all the while we collect clothes to be donated," said Natalia Martinez, an organizer of the event.

This was the third Wellness Diaspora event this year.
