A disabled man from Allerton says he is getting the runaround from the company that supplies his motorized scooter.

Mario Madriz, 68, says his scooter stopped working more than once. He says he's had scooters that fail to charge or just completely break down.

Rainbow Supply of New York supplies Madriz with his motorized scooters as part of his Medicare and Medicaid benefits. The last replacement he received left him stranded on a sidewalk in the cold on Thanksgiving.

Madriz says he just gets excuse after excuse from Rainbow. He says the company is blaming his building's electrical system for his current scooter problems.

News 12 contacted Rainbow and a representative gave the same answer. The representative went on to say that Madriz will be getting a brand-new scooter Friday.
