Bronx man charged with assault after man is found dead in Harlem

HARLEM -

A Bronx man is facing charges after another Bronx man was found dead in Harlem.

Police say they responded to an assault near the corner of Harlem River Drive and East 135th Street on Nov. 16 around 9:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found 48-year-old Tyrone Campbell with trauma to his head and body.

EMS transported the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have arrested 56-year-old Reginald Cooper and charged him with assault.
