Police: Man viciously beat another man outside Fordham liquor store

A man is accused of viciously assaulting another man outside of a liquor store in Fordham, police say.

Police tell News 12 the incident happened Thursday on East 183rd Street.

News 12 is told the suspect, who police have identified as Tony Turner, approached a 41-year-old man inside the liquor store and pushed him.

Surveillance video shows Turner walking into the store and then following the victim outside.

Once outside, Turner allegedly punched and kicked the victim several times.

The victim was taken to an area hospital and treated for redness, swelling, soreness and bruising.

Police say Turner was last seen wearing a dark blue Yankees baseball hat, a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
