Man attacked, robbed by 3 men on Bruckner Boulevard in Schuylerville

Police are searching for three men they say robbed and beat a man on a Schuylerville sidewalk on Dec. 9.

According to police, the victim was approached on Bruckner Boulevard by the three individuals from behind when they knocked him to the ground, beating him.

The suspects can be seen on surveillance video punching and kicking the victim many times on his head and body, even striking him on the back with a helmet. The suspects then took the victim's backpack, which had his cellphone and debit card, and left the scene on a motorized scooter.

The victim suffered a cut to his head and was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in serious but stable condition.

The suspects are only described as three men who wore dark-colored clothing. Two wore helmets on their heads during the attack and robbery.
