KINGSBRIDGE HEIGHTS -

Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of an apartment fire in Kingsbridge Heights this morning.

News 12 is told the flames sparked around 2:30 a.m. at 2776 Sedgwick Ave.

Crews say it took about two hours to get the blaze under control.

A charred bike and a completely totaled car could be seen in the back of the Sedgewick Avenue apartment, where it appears the worst of this fire happened.

A video taken of the fire by a neighbor shows the flames climbing alongside the back of the building.

As of now it’s not clear what promoted the flames.

News 12 is told four families are now displaced.
