The Milleridge Inn in Jericho hosted a dinner Friday evening with a theme modeled after the Netflix movie "Bird Box."

Just like in the film, in which people must be blindfolded and remain silent to survive an evil force, diners had to stay blindfolded and silent while they ate -- all while music and bird and rushing water sounds from the movie were playing.

Customers who made it through the three-course meal without taking off the blindfold were treated to a free drink.
