Parkchester family: Leaking ceiling crashes down in middle of night

A Parkchester woman says she woke up to a leaking ceiling in the middle of the night that eventually came crashing down.
Crystal Marshall says she was sleeping and felt her feet getting wet around 3 a.m. Saturday morning. Marshall and her family says the ceiling came down after it was leaking for about an hour.
Crystal Marshall is disabled and lives with her husband and son, who is also disabled.
The family was evacuated from the building because the water was leaking from a light fixture. The family says neither the landlord nor management office have picked up their calls as of 1 p.m. Saturday.
The super did answer and Marshall says he came to look at the damage.
News 12 spoke with the super off-camera and he says he needs guidance from the landlord first before moving forward, but the landlord isn't picking up his call either.
According to Marshall, the fire department tried to gain access to the unit above to find the source of the leak but were unable to get in.
News 12 reached out to the management office for comment.
