Police seek suspect who slashed victim in face at Parkchester station

Police are looking for a suspect who slashed a victim in the face in Parkchester.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday on the mezzanine at the Parkchester subway station. The male victim suffered a laceration to the face and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, according to police.

The victim's identity hasn't been released and his age is not known at this time. There is no word yet on the extent of his injuries.

The suspect wore a gray hat, pink Jordan sneakers, a black jacket and gray sweatpants. The suspect was last seen heading west.
