THE BRONX -

Investigators say 15 gang members, with ties to numerous shootings and 10 attempted murders in the Concourse section of the borough, were indicted Wednesday.

In the 60-count indictment, leaders of the “280 Gangsta Crips” are facing first-degree conspiracy to commit murder charges.

Investigators say they used boys to carry out shootings, tying those indicted to two non-fatal shootings, a stabbing and seven incidents of shots fired.

They say violence was used in retaliation toward the "6 Wild" – a set of the Bloods gang, after a 14-year-old boy and member of the 280 Crips was shot to death while walking to school in 2015.

Investigators say another member of the 280 Crips was stabbed and killed in June 2018. They say investigators have video of several of the attacks.

If convicted, at least seven of the defendants could serve a minimum of 15-25 years to a maximum of life in prison.

Although 15 people have been indicted, authorities are still trying to apprehend three people.
