Police: 18-year-old attacked by 4 men at Third Ave./East 149th St. station

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying four men wanted for allegedly beating and robbing an 18-year-old girl in the subway.

The attack happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 inside the Third Avenue/East 149th Street station.

Police say the four men punched the woman multiple times inside the station. They then forcibly removed her belt, ski mask and a pair of earphones.

Police believe the suspects are all between 17 and 20 years old.

The woman was treated for her wounds at the scene.
