Police: 64-year-old man suffers broken jaw in Morrisania attack

A suspect is on the loose after assaulting a man in Morrisania Friday, police say.

Police tell News 12 that the incident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. on East 167th Street and Boston Road.

News 12 is told a man approached a 64-year-old victim from behind, punched him and knocked him to the ground.

The suspect then continuously punched and kicked the man before fleeing.

The victim was taken to the hospital for a broken jaw.
