City officials publicly apologized Monday to a mother who had her 1-year-old baby taken from her at a Brooklyn benefits center.
News 12 reported that Jazmine Headley went to a Brooklyn social services office in December to find out why her son's day care vouchers had been cut. She sat on the floor due to lack of seating and that's when her family says security unnecessarily called the NYPD.
According to reports, the city is working on firing one of the security guards seen taking the child from Headley, while a second guard resigned Monday.
