Classroom display at Williamsbridge school celebrates Black History Month

A classroom display at a school in Williamsbridge is gaining attention for its creativity during Black History Month.
Seventh-grade students and staff at the Leaders of Tomorrow School created an art project of a woman meant to embody black excellence. The woman's body is made up of photos of icons of color throughout history including Harriet Tubman, Nelson Mandela, Oprah, former President Barack Obama and Cardi B.
The students and staff say the people were chosen by students to show them they can be anything they want to be, and that the artwork is meant to be a visual sign of empowerment during this month.
The door's artwork received acknowledgement from School's Chancellor Richard Carranza who posted a photo of it on Twitter.
Students in other grades also created similar walls.
