Police: Woman who couldn't get beef patty smashed eatery windows with bat

Police are searching for a woman they say bashed in the windows of a Morrisania restaurant over a beef patty.
They say the incident happened on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Back Home Restaurant on East 169th Street.
Officials say the woman ordered a beef patty, but when an employee told her they were all out, she became upset and left the restaurant.
Video shows the suspect returning to the restaurant within minutes wielding a bat and breaking the store's windows and front door before running off southbound on Boston Road.
The owner of the restaurant tells News 12 that the customer has been to the business before and never caused a problem.
The owner says the store is open and that she just wants police to catch that woman. She says she hopes customers can stay patient if they ever run out of patties again.
Anyone with information should call police.
