Police: 4-year-old killed in fall from fourth-floor window in the Bronx

A 4-year-old girl who tumbled out of a fourth-floor apartment window has died, according to police.

A 4-year-old girl who tumbled out of a fourth-floor apartment window has died, according to police.
It happened on East 140th Street. Fire officials say the call came in shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday.
News 12 is told that the child was going back and forth in the apartment. She was apparently able to get to the top portion of the window, then fell out.
The child was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, and was pronounced dead.
There were two adults in the apartment when the incident happened. It's unknown at this time if charges could be filed in the case.
The girl's identity has not yet been released, pending the notification of family.
